The next time she used it (about a week later) it would not crank. Absolutely nothing would happen. As far as the pedal coming back too far, check the foot rest to see if it's not bent down where the brake pedal rests when it returns. The brake is adjustable. If you can remove the oil level switch wiring from the circuit it would give the same result. Oil level low the relay is activated and the power to the starter is interrupted. There are special instructions to remove the oil level switch from the engine without damage. ….
