There is a notched out area in the inside of the grip that lets me get the take down lever's outside facing arm (the flat part of the takedown lever) underneath the lower front of the trigger group.
This is what happens when the guide rod is either in the wrong orientation or off-center (on compact models). To me, something looks wrong with the take down lever. Remove slide and make sure the FCU is seated in the grip module and make sure that take down lever is inside properly and press back all the way.The mag is out and the slide is locked back but the damn takedown lever will not go to 6 o'clock position no matter how hard I force it. My thumb is bleeding at this point lol. Might not be the same, but for a while the 320s needed to push the barrel down or back slightly to allow the lever to drop. This fixed it.
