If the 45 fcu fits and functions by hand the biggest concerns I see would be with the 45 ejector hitting 9mm brass and throwing them clear and if the slide holds open with last round fired . A complete stock 45 FCU will work with 9/40/357 unmodified, but the takedown safety function may be compromised. Of course, the 45 grip is different than one for 9/40/357.
