City is the best overall. It's like a better version of Asylum (though Asylum is very unique) Origins and Knight are more advanced but they don't catch the atmosphere and tension like the previous games. On the other hand The Batman needed to stop Arkham City from expanding. Hugo Strange succeeds with protocol 10 however fails to convey that Arkham city is a good idea to branch out. Batman saves himself and most of Gotham with the cure (continued in Arkham knight) but fails to save the Joker.
