Oct 19, 2017 · Replaced it with an aluminum one and it ran fine. Today it was about 80 degrees. After a few hours of running. It died. Check engine light came on. Took gas cap off and there seemed to be some pressure. Added more gas thinking it might cool the gas down in tank. Seemed to work when fuel pump started to fail. I purchased my 2018 Sportsman 450 back in August and have had no issues with it. However, last weekend the check engine light came on. After cycling the key a few times it went off, but then came on again after riding. It does not seem to be running any differently. I got it to show the diagnostic code and included an image.3. Apr 8, 2015 · Polaris code (520 194 7) After a lovely 4 days of owning my new machine, the bike throws the check engine light at me and the code reads (520 194 7). Its a (Throttle Release Signal) and is getting taken to the shop today. Was told the part SHOULD be covered and labor as well. Fired up the 570 to load it and it seemed to run fine in Park but as soon as I put it in Low the engine light flashed and it ran crappy again,no code. When I got home (and it had cooled down) it fired right up and ran perfect with no check engine light.
