I get why they removed the ability for addons to modify friendly plates because of some exploitave use of Weak Auras in Nighthold but why this change? The only way to fix this is just turning it off. It is impossible when big pulls occur to be able to single out the one mob casting the deadly ability :/. I use player, and I stack my nameplates, but I've never been able to get the training dummy nameplates to stack. So it's probably working, just go out into the world and try it. I bounded "toggle nameplates" to a button and as you can see in the video it does nothing. No nameplates show. This is on the friendly nameplate. Not sure how it does that to be honest it just does. But, looking to move to default wow UI and use plater for the nameplates instead but cannot see how to enable that same option! I know it doesn't work in open world content or dungeons etc only in BG's, which is fine.I've tried using Plater but every time I move into a new room in a dungeon, my friendly name plates pop on.
