Getting the limit. PenFed used to allow one card to go to $50K. Earlier this year, the policy changed to $25K per card. The problem earlier in the spring/summer was that we had several My Fico members including myself who were offered the higher limits but then the new credit didn't show up on our accounts.Feb 17, 2023 · Your new credit limit is $17,500.00. If you already have a CL greater than $25K with an existing card ($15K for the Gold card) you keep that CL but you cannot get a CLI. If you have a card with a current CL less than $25K ($15K for the Gold card) you'll only be able to grow it to the $25K/$15K maxinum.
