0. Oct 12, 2019. 0. I have a 2014 kw with a paccar mx13. Last week my boost started suddenly dropping..then would pick back up again. Got the truck to the shop. Replaced fuel filters, air filter and fuel pressure regulator. The regulator was replaced because fuel pressure was bouncing from 20-210. This didn’t fix the issue.Jul 12, 2020 · Changes from 10 to 13 included commonrail fuel injection, electronic egr and bpv valves, high mount egr cooler for starters. Any used neglected truck could be plagued with expensive problems to break an owner quick. Best bet it do your research on previous owner and previous repair history will tell a story.

I've seen several UOAs for that engine and this report is pretty typical. Extraordinarily low wear metals is nice, but the silicon is very good and there's no signs of antifreeze intrusion, either.Check EGR Venturi. Look for corrosion/excessive build up. Any corrosion or pitting in the venture will affect EGR gas mapping. Check EGR Differential pressure sensor. make sure both lines are clear and not plugged. make sure O-ring to sensor is not cut/damaged.
