We have received a donation of intake record ledgers from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. The records are organized by prisoner record number and range from 1909 to the 1950s. There are two gaps of numbers that are missing from the collection- 18875-20162 and 36726-38017.The Prison System. As of December 31, 2020, the number of prisoners under the jurisdiction of Oklahoma correctional authorities was 22,462 located in 24 state prisons and held in custody of private prisons or local jails.
