I got a pretty good idea of what I'm doing from nioh 1, bit I joined the fray late. I do know my ideal build is a kunai sword master hybrid. So far on my 2nd play through of nioh 2 the Kato armor with kunai/ninjutsu power/untouched seems to be going well with my primary skill allocations being heart and dex. Yes you can do a hybrid but you can't be 90% reliant on spells for damage. The point of Nin/Onmyo jutsu is to stack those spell buffs and hurl stuff at people.
