The best planet to mine Titanium is a planet (or should we say a moon) in the Eridani star system - which can be found in the bottom left corner of the galaxy map.The Mun has, with a total of 17, the most biomes of any celestial body. Each major crater is a distinct biome, which gives them somewhat official names; however, like all biome names, they are fairly generic. The Midlands and Highlands biomes each have a biome applied to any of the nameless large craters within them. The idea with a hopper is that you take suborbital "hops" from one biome to another. Kerbnet on some parts lets you view a map of the biomes nearby. You can …

Yeah, unfortunately ... I would gladly use a KerbnetProbe but I'm currently running a challenge, that is bringing all of Mun's surface science in one mission without getting science from anywhere else than Kerbin itself. As such I don't have enough science to unlock a biome-capable probe without breaking my challenge. graves_09 •.Hello everyone. I'm playing science mode to learn the game before going on career mode. After a somewhat successful mun landing (and rescue), I am now planning a trip to Minmus. But one thing that I can't find an answer for is how much duplicate science stuff (mystery goo etc.) I need to bring to collect all types of science on the way to Minmus so I can design my lander better …Biomes I've seen on the Mun besides the large craters, which you can assume are each their own. From there I jumped 3km north into a Mun midlands biome. From there it surprised me but I had only another 1.6km jump to get into a Mun highlands biome. Then I went for about a 50km jump to the Munar canyon just north east of the farside crater. With the right ship its kind of easy to land almost anywere. The thing you have to do is, forget legs, use multiple fuel around (minimal 1 tank of 360.0 with 4 around), you can use the 1/4 type so its almost the same of having a big one. but with a lot more area. Second, calculate correctly when to stop. (almost burns no fuel).

Resources. Traits. You’ll only need to scan a resource once, while the specimens of flora and fauna require a total of 8 scans to be fully surveyed. Planet Traits are all unique, but on Kreet, you’ll need to scan two stone arches. Devs shared biomes map for Kerbin in one of blog posts, but is there similar map of biomes on Mun? I've made eight return trips to various Mun biomes, and a few to Minmus. But I've just received my first contract to visit another planet. Very exciting times. I'm to do a flyby of Eve, gather science, and return to Kerbin.

Dec 18, 2013 · Then you can totally pillage every biome on Mun or Minmus in a single mission, with less total play time spent because you're not always going back and forth to the moons. Land on 1 biome, grab the data, return to the mothership, stuff the data in the ML, use the ML to rearm the experiments, and repeat on the next biome. Aug 25, 2016 · Usually that map (of biomes of Mun) is not the one used for missions. I guess you could by random coincidence get a mission to a named Mun biome, but that is certainly not the usual pattern. The missions that I have seen seem to be to more or less randomly spawned locations, as far as I could tell. The Moon biome is meant to resemble something closer to the surface of an atmosphere-less, grey planet similar to Earth\'s Moon, Mercury or a Dwarf Planet. It is not that different from the Hot Dry Rock biome, but it is covered in Moon Dust and has a biome temperature of 0.3.
