This is the first time I’ve heard someone sing mage hand’s praises. Personally, as someone used to playing at a table, the cantrip doesn’t really click with me. It’s a glorified combat pet in BG3 when it should be an exploration tool. Or maybe it shouldn’t… maybe this is a conscious decision by Larian at this point.

Mage hand nerf is unjustified. A CANTRIP that you can't cast at will isn't a cantrip. Githyanki can't even use it more than once a long rest, which is a major nerf, and if you use up a valuable cantrip slot it's once per short rest. This is a big nerf from EA AND TT.
