I just killed the Dancer boss and I'm sitting at level 92. My current sword is at +7 and sharp infused. My current dex is at 40. Currently SL27 with 27 vigor and the standard knight stats. Is it worth me farming souls to meet the Dex and Str requirements or should I stick to the Knight armor, shield, and RAW +2 Longsword. I currently have enough titanite and Raw gem to make the Loth Sword +2 and RAW. While this is the casul weapon for the mediocre scaling, no buffs or infusions, slow frost bite build up, using twinkling titanite, and general consensus I still enjoy using this weapon as a Gael killer, sure many weapons like the lothric knight straight sword may be inherently better in later levels this weapon is simply badass to use and a solid starting load out weaponhowever with 24 strength, 16 dex and 60 faith with Yorshka's Chime and the Lightning Blade buff the Lothric Knight Greatsword tops out at 850 damage There are ways to get more damage, but not without making a really rickety build that falls apart super easily.
