Then connected the two condenser wires direct to thermostat Y&C.Place your fingers at the bottom of the thermostat and pull to remove the cover plate. Replace both AA batteries with new ones. Make sure the battery polarity matches the markings on the battery compartment. Set the cover plate back in its place by sliding it onto the base plate until it's firmly fixed.
