Jun 8, 2011 · The engine GCV160 on my Honda mower starts fine but it seems to surge when the blade is not engaged. The engine seems to be hunting - it idles fast/slow. It does this at about 2 second intervals. After blade is engaged it this does not occur. Also it takes a while to warm up. It must idle for about 3 minutes before I can engage blade or it will ...
