home_grower. I just bought a Honda HRX217HYA and it is a great mower. I had a Craftsman 6.75HP one speed self propelled that was 5 years old but in great shape. I gave it to my brother which was a good excuse to get the Honda. The biggest feature is the brake lock. One pull is all you need for the whole mowing.Here’s the main way I miss it: in thinner grass. EGO SC’s cut is quite good in thick grass, but its “smart” technology has it ramp down power when the grass is thinner — so thinner grass also looks less neatly trimmed. The cut is just worse when the grass is worse.
