Proper grip is to curl your pinkie under the magazine base. 3. 60% grip strength from weak hand, 40% from strong hand. Step 5 - Remove the Extractor and Safety Plunger. Now that your firing pin assembly and plunger are out, draw your attention to the outside of the slide. Next to the extractor, you will find the firing-pin safety lock, it resembles a small round button. The first was the gun was not cycling bullets correctly (ftf) and kept getting empty brass stuck in between the slide and the barrell. We shot a total of three 6 round magazines and at least two times with every magazine this happened. We stopped firing the gun due to safety issues and being at an indoor range.G43 feeding problem solved. My G43 would at times not feed ammo into the chamber. The ammo would just nose dive into the feedramp, it only occurred with defensive ammo. So I sent my 3 G43 magazines stamped 01 back to Glock. I had read on here that they could be the problem.
