More than 200 earthquakes have been centered in and near Ohio since 1900, according to the USGS. The earthquake was centered 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) northwest of Timberlake in Lake County, the USGS reported. The USGS said it received more than 200 reports of shaking, most from an area between Euclid and Mentor. There were no reports of damage.
