AFAIK blood infusions increases bleed build up but drops your damage. And hollow infusions scale damage based off of luck and also increase bleed build up. I had a luck build with hollow warden twinblades that used to shred things to ribbons. Bleed builds whether blood or hollow infusions suck though.
