It is a 4L60E transmission and began experiencing a hard 1-2 shift at about 114K miles. The fluid was previously changed by the dealer at about 30K and 70K ...4L60E Fluid and Filter Refresh. Well I dropped the tranny pan and changed the filter and some of the fluid today. It was certainly due and I wanted to share some pictures with you. This is a 2000 T/A with 66k on her and I believe this was the first time the filter and fluid have been changed. See the Old and New fluid side by side.And yes, we have used Type F in 4L60e (my 1999 S-10) and similar transmissions, but we have the trannies rebuilt with upgraded internals and have them reprogrammed.
