2012 chevy cruze trunk button not working
Key fobs just stopped working at same time. I have a 2012 and randomly one day my key fobs both stopped working. I can’t access my trunk either as Chevy’s classic trunk button mishap has plagued my car as well. So without these fobs working I’m screwed. I checked my fuse and in the 22 spot (ignition electronic entry) I have a 15amp fuse.For 2016 - 2020 Chevrolet Malibu equipped Stop/Start option. If your trunk does not release when pressing the trunk's lid handle switch nor the Key FOB button. Check 15A fuse # F41 at the Instrument Panel Fuse Block. This fuse is listed at "Body Control Module 1 (with Stop/Start option)" on the Owner's Manual.I just feel it was a downgrade on GM's part. This was the primary reason for my post. Generally the cars get better from year to year with new technology.
